Professional Experience
Postdoctoral Researcher
Centre de Recherche et d'Enseignement des Géosciences de l'Environnement-CNRS, Aix-en-Provence, France
I apply geometric morphometrics and isotopes on warm water species to document their eco-morphological variability through the last 5 Ma.
Education
PhD in Geology
Univerzita Karlova, Prague, Czech Republic
16/10/2020 – 21/10/2024
Title: Palaeoceanographic evolution of the western South Atlantic during Marine Isotope Stages 5–1: A foraminiferal perspective.
Supervisor: Professor Dr. Katarína Holcová
PhD awarded on 21/10/2024
I used planktonic foraminifera to reconstruct the interplay between primary productivity, changes in the water mass geometry and carbonate dissolution during the last 110 thousand years. I documented for the western South Atlantic that high surface productivity and southern component water drove deep ocean carbon storage during the glacial.
